Habitat Extensions

These are the images I have. Either of the two middle ones are good quality and could go on the homepage.

The Habitat Wildlife Refuge and Education Center is an 90-acre urban oasis in the heart of Belmont, and has been devoted to environmental education since 1970. This Massachusetts Audubon Sanctuary has over 2.5 miles of gentle trails which wind through deciduous and evergreen forests, across meadows, around 2 ponds, and along a wetland containing a vernal pool. It is a beautiful sanctuary open to all Belmont residents, and it is an invaluable resource for the town.

The Belmont Land Trust has played an instrumental role in securing two adjacent parcels of land to add to the Habitat Sanctuary acreage.  Conservation restrictions held by the Land Trust will preserve both parcels as open space in perpetuity.
